unraveling Home, Atrium Gallery, western Nevada College, January - April 2025
The concept of home is layered, filled with both the comfort of family and the tension of displacement. Through my work, I seek to unravel these layers, examining how we shape and are shaped by our connections to the places and people we call home.
unraveling home is an exploration into this relationship. Each piece in this exhibition speaks to the overlapping emotions and fragmented narratives that define the search for home. From hidden words to layered materials, the works invite the viewer to go beyond the surfaces and engage with the deeper truths beneath, revealing the sometimes misleading nature of belonging.
